No matter what seems to happen, college basketball always gives us moments to remember. Not every game ends in a buzzer-beater or with a legendary performance, but each game and each player, and each season reveals memories that won’t soon be forgotten. While some of those moments are more high profile than others, that doesn’t mean that they won’t be remembered.

Today, we’re moving forward with the next piece in our series; a series that’s now more than half complete. We have been breaking down the best players from each conference over the last ten years of play. Certainly not an easy task, we’ve been doing this feat for every single league, proceeding in alphabetical order. Many names from the Big Ten or Big 12 were easily recognizable, though other leagues certainly fly under the radar.

MAC Basketball is another conference that sometimes flies under the radar. Make no mistake, there are some excellent athletes included in today’s list, but programs like Akron, Buffalo, and Ohio aren’t exactly household names. There haven’t been any membership changes in the MAC in the last decade, as this FBS conference keeps humming along and producing intriguing teams. This league picked up more than a couple wins in the NCAA Tournament and you can bet you’ll encounter some of those important pieces in today’s list.

Keep in mind that we’re only focusing on players from the last decade. This means that performances prior to 2013 won’t be included, though of course players whose careers extend back farther than that will still be eligible for this list. Likewise, someone who transfers from another school will not be judged based on their performance outside of the MAC. With all of this said, let’s get right into these players, who certainly have some stories to tell us.
