12. Antonio Campbell

A 6’8 big man from Cincinnati, Campbell spent his entire collegiate career in Ohio’s frontcourt. He joined Jim Christian’s program back in 2013 and would play a starring role under successor Saul Phillips for several seasons. The only unfortunate thing is that Campbell missed most of his senior year with a foot injury, though he had plenty of highlights before that ailment.

After getting minimal run as a freshman, Campbell took full advantage of his chances as a sophomore, putting up 10.0 points and 7.6 rebounds, albeit in a bad year for the Bobcats. Everything was better the next year, as Campbell averaged 17.1 points and 10.2 rebounds and became Ohio’s lead playmaker. He led the Bobcats to a 23-win season that featured success in the CBI, including a 17-point, 19-rebound effort against UNC Greensboro. Campbell played just 15 games in his senior year but was on his way to comparable numbers.

In actuality, Campbell was named MAC Player of the Year in 2016, with his game really coming together in that junior season. He led the conference in rebounds and blocks and was one of the top offensive players as well. His efficiency metrics were sensational in that junior year and he likely could’ve repeated some of that success had he stayed healthy as a senior. Regardless, Campbell was a prominent piece for the Bobcats at the early part of this decade.
