Throughout the offseason, we’ve seen a number of class of 2024 NCAA Basketball prospects make updates in their respective recruitments. A few have announced either where they’re going, making lists of options, or just visits. A few, like Kon Knueppel, have been quieter.

Kneuppel is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin is arguably the best overall prospect in that state for the 2024 class. He’s a 6’5 guard/wing with great size and is known for his quality shooting ability, both on and off the ball. He’s a consensus top-25 prospect and is listed as a five-star target per 247sportsComposite.

The star wing hasn’t made a list but he has gone on a few visits in the past months. Plus, an article recently from Eric Bossi of 247sports listed Kneuppel and a small update on his recruitment, along with the programs reportedly in the mix. There are nine of them, including a couple of obvious local options.

So which of them makes the most sense from a roster standpoint? Here’s a closer look at Kneuppel’s options and see if any stands out as viable options.

Alabama Crimson Tide

The Tide is hoping for a mega class in 2024 to help replace potentially losing its top six players on the current roster. Projected starting two-guard Aaron Estrada only has one year left, while Cal State Fullerton transfer Latrell Wrightsil could leave after his next season.

After seeing what Brandon Miller was able to do in his lone year at Alabama, any offensive-minded wing will have interest in the team. But the team is also after top-40 prospects, Billy Richmond and V.J. Edgecombe so unless he makes an early decision, the Tide may not focus on Kneuppel as much.
