Georgia Bulldogs

The Bulldogs have a new-look roster for this season, including Illinois transfer wing, RJ Melendez. He and another former top-60 prospect (Jabri Abdur-Rahim) will get the minutes on the wing, along with top-100 freshman, Blue Cain. So there’s potential that Georgia is set on the wings for the future or could use someone like Rooths in case they struggle.

Maryland Terrapins

The Terrapins have a pair of freshmen wings they’re reportedly high on in Jamie Kaiser and DeShawn Harris-Smith. Depending on how things go, they could be pros in a couple of years, which would remove the potential logjam on paper for Rooths to deal with. Otherwise, he’d have to be willing to be a backup for a couple of years at Maryland.

Miami Hurricanes

The Hurricanes recently landed top-50 shooting guard prospect, Austin Swartz. The backcourt is mostly set but they need to address the lack of depth on the wings and in the frontcourt. The team does have Florida State transfer Matthew Cleveland for up to two more years, as well as former top-100 recruit, AJ Casey. With the core of the Final Four squad potentially gone after this season, it’s a chance for Rooths to be part of the reloading future.
