NCAA Basketball Recruiting: Analyzing top 3 teams for top-50 Isaiah Elohim
Isaiah Elohim is a consensus four-star wing in the 2024 NCAA Basketball recruiting class. Who are the finalists for his services?
We have another top-tier NCAA Basketball out of the state of California with an update on their respective recruitment. This time it’s Isaiah Elohim, a four-star guard/wing who’s a four-star prospect. 247sportsComposite has the Sierra Canyon High School star ranked in the top 50 overall in the 2024 class.
Elohim is a two-way player who’s known for his physicality and toughness and can be a quality slasher to the basket. With a developing jumpshot, he can turn into a highly impactful player at the NCAA Basketball level in a couple of years.

Elohim is now to three options, with some big names involved. But does any of them stand out in terms of being the best potential fit? Here’s a closer look down below.
Arkansas Razorbacks
Arkansas does already have a small forward commit in four-star Jalen Shelley but after missing out on local top-30 target Annor Boateng, they can still use someone like Elohim. He fits what Coach Mussleman likes and they play a deep rotation most of the time. You just don’t know which transfers they’re going to take in the next offseason.
Kansas Jayhawks
With five-star big man Flory Bidunga and now top-40 PG Labaron Philon part of the 2024 class, the Jayhawks just need at least one wing to wrap things up. With former commit Marcus Adams Jr. now gone, that leaves just international freshman Johnny Furphy once Kevin McCullar Jr. departs after this season. So barring a transfer import next offseason, Elohim could see some minutes here early.
Villanova Wildcats
The Wildcats focused mainly on the transfer portal this offseason to get the roster good enough to bounce back this season.
But with all of the key wing players (Justin Moore, TJ Bamba, Hakim Hart) leaving after next year, there’s a clear path for someone like Elohim to get immediate playing time as a freshman.
