There are just a few weeks remaining until the start of the next college basketball season. Months of preparations and training have led thousands of players and coaches to this moment. So many unpredictable and amazing moments will happen in the coming months.

But we’re not into the season quite yet and there’s still plenty of time to look ahead. Today’s focus is in the ACC, which is a conference filled with dynamic basketball programs. It’s a league regularly filled with top recruits, legendary head coaches, and players who make memorable moments and this year is certainly no different

Today’s specific focus is on the 25 best individual players in the league for the upcoming year. There are plenty of moving pieces among the current fifteen members of ACC Basketball, meaning not every highly talented player will be mentioned here today. With that in mind, let’s run through this list of names ahead of what should be another intriguing year in the ACC.

25. Joe Girard III – Clemson

After putting up stunning numbers at the high school level, Girard didn’t exactly live up to expectations at Syracuse, though he still had four solid years for the Orange. Clearly no stranger to the ACC, he’s coming off a year where he averaged 16.4 points, 3.0 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game, albeit earning an 8th place finish in a mediocre season at Syracuse.

Girard transitions to Clemson for his fifth and final year of eligibility, becoming a much needed weapon for the Tigers. His offensive contributions will certainly be welcomed by Brad Brownell, especially if Girard can have another solid shooting season. This is Girard’s final season as he’ll look to replicate those same shooting number, having made 40% of his 3-pointers as a junior before becoming more a total scorer last year.
