8. Emanuel Miller – TCU

Although TCU shed some talented pieces in the offseason, most notably Mike Miles Jr., the return of Miller is a massive offseason victory for Jamie Dixon’s program. He was a stud early on at Texas A&M and has been a major part of the Horned Frogs’ success these last two years, putting up 12.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game last year.

Miller does a lot of things right for TCU. He’s a strong, talented defender and a hard worker. He’s capable of being a significant scorer, and he did make nearly 40% of his 3-pointers, albeit on limited attempts. This final collegiate year is his chance to be the star of the show, and he’s very capable of that, working hard on improving his offense to go along with his strong rebounding ability.

7. Dylan Disu – Texas

Considering he won the Big 12 Tournament MVP this past March, Disu is certainly trending in the right direction at the tail end of his career. He was a starting forward for two years at Vanderbilt before joining Chris Beard’s program in 2021. After minor minutes as a junior, Disu earned the starting job again as a senior, averaging 8.8 points and 4.4 rebounds, though of course with his best efforts at the end of the year.

While he did get injured in the Sweet Sixteen, Disu was playing like Texas’s top performer and will be expected to play a major role in his final collegiate campaign. He took a step back as a shooter last year, but continued to grow his game in the paint, especially as a rebounder and shot blocker. The numbers should look significantly better this year: he did average 16.5 points and 7.4 rebounds in his final eight full games last season.
