14. Milos Uzan – Oklahoma

One of the Top 100 prospects from last year’s recruiting class, Uzan has shown significant potential as a freshman with the Sooners. He averaged 7.6 points, 3.0 assists, and 2.7 rebounds while making 41% of his 3-pointers, but it’s more about the potential than just the raw stats. His best performances came at the very end of the season and he might be the most talented returner for Porter Moser.

The Sooners have struggled in recent years, but Uzan really responded well as the year went on. While he couldn’t bring Oklahoma to success in the postseason, he’s primed for another major step forward as a sophomore. He’s built himself up in the offseason and hopes to be an even more consistent shooter for the Sooners. Don’t be surprised if he earns All-League consideration, especially if this new-look Sooners lineup impresses.

13. Ja’Kobe Walter – Baylor

Last season, Baylor built a strong backcourt due in large part to the early success of 5-star prospect Keyonte George, who left the college game after just a single season. If Walter can be the same type of performer as a freshman, then Scott Drew and these Bears are going to be very pleased this upcoming season.

Walter is a 5-star wing who should be a massive part of the gameplan for Baylor this season. Not only does he have significant talent as a scorer and shot maker, but he projects as an above average defender who can make plays all over the court. Obviously, the transition into the Big 12 isn’t easy for anyone, but Walter is going to get buckets and make big plays for the Bears all season long.
