17. Arkansas Razorbacks

Since Arkansas used a lot of four-guard lineups, the frontcourt wasn’t a featured part of the team last season. But they did lose a couple of guys in Kamani Johnson and Makhel Mitchell. But one twin did come back in Makhi Mitchell, who averaged 7.0 ppg and 5.3 rpg last season.

Yet the most important returning player for the Razorbacks is Trevon Brazile, who produced 11.8 ppg and 6.0 rpg in nine games off the bench last season before suffering a season-ending injury. He has plenty of potential on both ends and as the exhibition against Purdue showed last weekend, will be a focal part of the team.

As expected, Arkansas also added some transfers, including Southern Miss wing Denijay Harris, Memphis forward Chandler Lawson, and five-star freshman big man, Baye Fall. Plus, Jalen Graham, the former Arizona State forward, is also on the roster again to provide depth.

While the Razorbacks could still go small, look for them to use some bigger lineups against the top teams in the SEC. There’s also some big potential for this to be one of Coach Musselman’s best defensive units in the frontcourt as well.
