NCAA Basketball: Game picks for Day 2 of 2023-24 season
By Bryan Mauro
There aren’t as many great games on the second day of the NCAA Basketball but Auburn vs Baylor stands out. What are the key games to watch?
Day 1 is in the books and there have already been some huge upsets. James Madison and Abilene Christian had huge wins. A rtop-5 team (Michigan State) has already lost, along with other notable upsets such as VCU falling to McNeese State. Some other power five schools had scares but ended up winning their games. Day 2 is going to have some more ranked teams who have a chance to lose as well. There is also one mid major I am very high on that can put a power school on watch.
Yesterday in my picks I went 95-16 overall. Remember, these are just the straight up winners, point spreads are not taken into account if I count a win. There are significantly less games after a huge opening night slate but there is a key matchup of top-30 teams between Auburn and Baylor to lead the slate. Here are the picks for November 7th, 2023.
Drexel over La Salle
Indiana over Florida Gulf Coast
St. John’s over Stony Brook
UMass over Albany
Maryland over Mount St. Mary’s
Georgetown over Le Moyne
North Texas over Northern Iowa
Iowa over North Dakota
Vanderbilt over Presbyterian
Michigan over UNC Asheville
Creighton over Florida A&M
Baylor over Auburn
DePaul over Fort Wayne
San Jose State over UC Irvine
Nevada over Sacramento State
Watch the UNC Asheville and Michigan game as a potential upset. Baylor is also a ranked team who has a tough matchup and could be the second ranked team to lose. And can DePaul avoid an upset on national television? Happy betting and check back everyday for more picks of the day.
