No. 12 Arizona (1-0) at No. 2 Duke (1-0)

Durham, NC, Friday, November 10, 7:00 PM ET, ESPN2

Also on Friday, Cameron Indoor plays host to a big-time game between No. 2 Duke and No. 12 Arizona. The Wildcats are taking a true road game at Duke is about as good of an early session test as Tommy Lloyd can get for his team. As for Duke, the Blue Devils are looking to make a statement as national title contenders.

Duke (1-0) kicked off year two of the Jon Scheyer era with a 92-54 win over Dartmouth on Monday. While the Big Green wasn’t the biggest test for the Blue Devils, it did showcase a bit of why they’re considered a national title contender. Roach, Proctor, and Filipowski paced the No. 2 team in the country, accounting for 47 of their 92 points. The visiting Wildcats (1-0) also eased into the year with a 122-59 win over Morgan State. Caleb Love impressed in his first game with his new team and seniors Pelle Larsson and Oumar Ballo were as steady as always in the win.

Both teams will have plenty of opportunities for marquee victories this year, but this contest is key because Duke is looking to make a national statement before taking on Michigan State in the Champions Classic, and Tommy Lloyd has a shot to show that the Pac-12 (in its final year as we know it) will still run through Tucson.
