No. 15 Texas A&M (1-0) at Ohio State (1-0)

Columbus, OH, Friday, November 10, 7:00 PM ET, Peacock

After a surprising second-place finish in the SEC, Buzz Williams and the Texas A&M Aggies (1-0) are looking to do even better this season. Their first test of the year as the No. 15 team in the country comes Friday night when they travel to Columbus, Ohio to take on Chris Holtmann’s Ohio State Buckeyes (1-0).

Both the Aggies and Buckeyes had opening-night wins over Texas A&M-Commerce and Oakland respectively on opening night. Texas A&M displayed the depth and versatility that has many thinking they could take home the SEC crown. six players scored at least eight points and they shot 46% from the field and 39% on their three-point attempts.

Ohio State doesn’t look like they will be in the mix for the Big Ten title just yet but should be much improved over their 13th-place finish last season. Senior Zed Key will be a big key for Chris Holtmann’s team this year, as will grad transfer Jamison Battle who scored nine points with seven rebounds and two assists in the win over Oakland after playing at Minnesota the previous two years.

Buzz Williams and company would love to come out of Columbus with a big road win to make it two straight in the win column to begin the year. The Buckeyes are looking to show that last season was a fluke despite losing a lot of production and a win over Texas A&M would do just that.
