The Saturday NCAA Basketball slate may not have some huge games but there could be some power conference teams on upset watch.

If the first Friday of the season told us anything it’s that no one is safe, at least not early on. The first night of big games did not disappoint. There were upsets like Davidson over Maryland, Monmouth over West Virginia, Chattanooga blew out Louisville, Nicholls beat LSU and countless other power schools were in a fight with mid major schools. The Big Ten has struggled outside of the conference and that may not bode well for the bubble teams in that conference going forward. If this is how the rest of the weekend is going to go it is going to be great basketball all weekend.

Yesterday in my picks I went 54-18 for an overall record of 194-45. This is one of the lighter Saturdays in the sport and it will continue to be that way through November when the College Football regular season ends. There are still some key mid major games today but not too many power five teams are playing. It is hard to compete with college football especially when fighting for air time. The picks for the straight up winners for 6 on November 11, 2023 are below.

See as I mentioned it is a light slate but there are still some great games in the schedule. Bradley and Utah State, Toledo and Louisiana, Ohio and Cleveland State, and UNC Asheville and UNC Wilmington are all big games. DePaul is on upset alert and Providence is going to have their hands full with Milwaukee. Have a great time watching the games today. See you all tomorrow.
