With the Champions Classic, Gavitt Games and other big matchups, this Tuesday is filled with compelling NCAA Basketball games.

Welcome to Champions Classic day. This is the best day of the early season regular season basketball until Feast Week. There are a lot of ranked teams playing today including the overall number 1 team in the country. Yesterday proved there were a lot of things that we didn’t know about teams. Michigan and UTEP looked the most impressive and picked up huge wins early in the season. Is it possible everyone was wrong about the Wolverines?  They are a legit squad that is going to make noise in the Big Ten.

Yesterday I went 20-6 for the day and that improved my record to 271-66 overall. The Tuesday slate is fantastic with games from the Gavitt event, the Champions Classic, and campus games from various other MTE’s. There was an upset again yesterday when Penn knocked off Villanova in the Palestra making it 7 out of 8 days to open the season with an upset. There is going to be one today and hopefully I pick it right. Picks for day 9 of the NCAA basketball season on November 14th, 2023 are below.

Hawaii finally gets on the board against a non Division 1 school. After tomorrow night every team will have played at least one game. There are some games that have extreme upset potential. I do like Milwaukee to keep the game with Colorado close for awhile. Appalachian State should beat Oregon State, but don’t know if they do in Corvallis.

Next. Latest top-25 power rankings. dark

Finally, will DePaul finally win a game against South Dakota?  Who knows the Blue Demons have struggled a lot out of the gates. Enjoy the games and see you tomorrow.
