NCAA Basketball: Game picks for Day 11 of the 2023-24 season
By Bryan Mauro
Feast week is here and that means day Basketball. There are some power NCAA Basketball conference schools on upset watch today, but also some fantastic games between mid majors.
It is the start of Feast Week which means we are going to get great tournaments starting tomorrow and most importantly day basketball. The Wednesday slate was light but there were plenty of great games and still plenty of upsets to satisfy the diehard college basketball fans. East Carolina, who I thought was much improved, lost a game to South Carolina-Upstate. South Florida has their best team in years and still found a way to lose to Central Michigan who is one of the worst teams in the country. Northern Arizona went to Seattle and beat the Redhawks on their home floor. This sport never ceases to amaze me.
Yesterday was a tough day for my picks. I did pick a lot of upsets to happen. Most of those did not happen and I ended up at 18-11 which is good for 335-89 overall. There were a lot of mid major games that could go either way yesterday and I chose the wrong ones. Today begins the Charleston Classic, Myrtle Beach Invitational, and the Legends Classic. Hawaii also gets on the board with their first Division 1 game of the season. The picks for day 11 November 16, 2023 are below.
College of Charleston over Vermont
St John’s over North Texas
Saint Louis over Wyoming
Northwestern State over Maine

There are a lot of great games both in tournaments and non tournament games. Liberty and Furman is the best mid major vs mid major game and that is in the first round of the Myrtle Beach Invitational. Charleston and Vermont in that same tournament is also going to be great game. Coastal Carolina is a team to watch for an upset as they play Wichita State on their home floor.
Oklahoma State is also on upset watch against St. Bonaventure. The Bonnies are one of the top teams in the Atlantic 10 and can absolutely beat the Cowboys. Other than that, it is mostly going to be favorites winning the games. Enjoy the tournaments and check back tomorrow for more picks.
