1. This team is so well-rounded

Villanova is shaping up to be one of those teams where you head into it not knowing who is going to lead the way and be the star, but someone is going to do it. This time it was Tyler Burton with his scoring effort, but in one game it can be Justin Moore, another it can be Eric Dixon, TJ Bamba, and most others on this roster.

A majority of the time that leader will be Moore, but Burton is competing to be the number two scoring option alongside Dixon here. These players also complement each other so well, they all bring different skill sets that make sure defenses have to worry about every way a team can score. They can run a great offense with a guard that can run plays, players like Burton are shifty and can score at will, this team shoots the ball well from deep, and players like Dixon can dominate in the paint.

Kyle Neptune has put together a unit that is built just like your classic Jay Wright team, built for great defense and surrounding players with other players that complement each other’s games. This is what helped player development so much, and now it is coming back together for a Villanova team that might be a bit better than we expected.

They have the returners, the new faces, and the star power to get it done in the Big East and beyond, now it is up to the Wildcats to continue this momentum and make themselves contenders by the time March comes around.
