Make no mistake; the calendar still reads November. We have barely scratched the surface on this NCAA basketball season. We’re still learning new things about the hundreds of D1 basketball programs and months of play still remain in this season. There are still countless games for breakout performances or stellar disappointments, but that doesn’t mean it’s not too early to think about the upcoming NCAA Tournament.

March Madness is still several months ago and any bracketology productions at this point are insanely premature. That being said, there’s nothing wrong with taking a look at where things stand even at this early point in the year. At this point, we’re basing a lot off of projection and just a few opportunities to see some teams, with a select few barely challenged in the opening weeks of the season.

Both the good and the bad have come for several teams already this season. Keeping in mind that we’re barely into this season, we’re going to take a look at a few teams that have already helped themselves in regards to bracketology. Obviously no bubbles are burst or bids secured with the Tournament so many months away, but a few teams had some performances that they should be able to look fondly back at come March. We won’t spend too much time on this, but here are a few teams that have certainly helped themselves already this season.
