Day 2 of the Maui Invitational begins today and it brings us two games against top 10 NCAA Basketball teams.

What a day yesterday was. There were so many great games especially in the Maui Invitational. Yesterday was a great day for the Big Ten which got a bunch of resume boosting wins. Indiana avoided the loss to Louisville, Purdue beat Gonzaga in Maui, and Wisconsin took Virginia to the woodshed and beat them handily.

Missouri State won the Paradise Jam, UCF won the Jacksonville Classic, UConn won the Empire Classic and looks like a legitimate National Championship contender again. I am starting to have some concerns about Drake. I ranked them high, but they have not looked the part in the early going so far. There is still a lot of time to right the ship for the Bulldogs though.

I had my worst day so far picking the games. I went 36-19 yesterday for a 15 day total of 528-166. There are always upsets in Feast Week tournaments and I went 0-6 in the morning games before seeing some winners. Today the semifinals of the Maui Invitational are on the docket. It is a great slate of games today overall and there are a lot of games between ranked opponents. Picks for Day 16 November 21, 2023, are below.

There are more late games today and the game in Hawaii doesn’t tip off until 1:30 AM Eastern Time. Most of us are probably not going to watch that. The great games today between Gonzaga and Syracuse, Tennessee and Purdue, and Marquette and Kansas are all appointment TV. James Madison and Southern Illinois is the best Mid Major game of the day. That game is closely followed by Stephen F. Austin and Utah State. Enjoy the games today and see you all again tomorrow morning.
