Princeton Tigers 5-0

Fresh off of their sweet sixteen appearance that included an upset of No. 2 seeded Arizona, the Princeton Tigers have picked up right where they left off. Mitch Henderson and the Tigers find themselves at 5-0 heading into the holiday. They got their session started with a win over Rutgers at the RAC and then continued their winning ways on the road by knocking off both CAA contender Hofstra, and Duquesne. They then finished off Old Dominion to make it four road wins in a row to begin the year.

The Tigers have used a balanced attack with four players averaging in double figures. They have been led by senior Matt Allocco who has averaged 17.4 points and Caden Pierce who is averaging a double-double with 14.6 points and 12.2 rebounds. Sophomore Xavien Lee has been a breakout star for the Tigers so far this season averaging 16.6 points, four rebounds, and 3.2 assists, he’s been really good at handling the ball, committing just nine turnovers in five games and has dished out 16 assists.

The Tigers still have a couple of key games left on their non-conference slate that could be key bullet points in their resume. On December 2nd they host Furman and take on Saint Joseph’s in Philadelphia on December 10th.
