3. Feed your stars, specifically Ryan Kalkbrenner

When your team is going through potentially hard times, and a loss to Oklahoma State would put them deeper into those dark days, you need to rely on your stars to carry you through it. Kalkbrenner has the size advantage over Marsh with the Cowboy big man being 6’10 with Kalkbrenner coming in at 7’1.

He only put up 12 and seven in their loss to Colorado State, but he has plenty of big nights ahead of him, with this one having the potential to be massive. Coming off a loss, coach McDermott should have this team angry and ready to go, and that includes Kalkbrenner.

Trey Alexander also had a quiet night with just three points in the contest, look for him to get going on some simple pick-and-roll plays with Kalkbrenner. Alexander is much better than three points and one assist in 35 minutes of basketball, so this could be the game he gets back on track for this team.

Baylor Scheierman also left their last game with an ankle injury, but it seems he is going to be just fine. His shooting and scoring ability add such a dynamic asset to their offense, so his health is vital. If that big three can get things moving for the Blue Jays, then they will have no issue against Oklahoma State.
