NCAA Basketball: Picks for Day 25 of 2023-24 season

Liberty and Florida Atlantic is one of the top games on the Thursday NCAA Basketball slate. Who are some other games to watch for?

Yesterday was the best day of the early season and the Basketball was great. The ACC/SEC challenge ended in a tie at 7-7 thanks to Georgia and their 17-point comeback on the road against Florida State. Arkansas beat Duke at Bud Walton. Walton Arena set an attendance record to watch the Razorbacks beat the Blue Devils. It was the first time that Duke had ever travelled to Arkansas in the regular season. Tennessee scored 92 points and still lost handily to North Carolina.

Finally, is Villanova going to be the Jekyll and Hyde team all season long? The Wildcats lost to Saint Joseph’s last night 5 days after winning the Battle 4 Atlantis. Villanova now has wins over North Carolina, Memphis, Maryland, and Texas Tech. The losses are to Penn and Saint Joseph’s. It has been an interesting start for the Wildcats.

Yesterday I went 51-21 in my picks which gives me a 24 day total of 818-284. There are not a lot of games today but there are still some quality games on today. There are a few good games on today and it is headlined with the first game of the night. Liberty and Florida Atlantic is the best game of the night. Only one team is in the top 25, both should probably be ranked and if Liberty wins tonight, they will head into Monday ranked in the top 25.

Creighton and Oklahoma State is a game that may look good on paper but has a chance to get ugly quickly for the Cowboys. Especially since the Bluejays are coming off a loss on Thanksgiving.  Enjoy the games and see you tomorrow.
