Things are a little different at TCU this season, but the Horned Frogs still look to be in great shape. While some of their stars from recent years are gone, Jamie Dixon is getting great production out of Emanuel Miller, JaKobe Coles, and Jameer Nelson Jr. among others with the hopes of a third straight trip to the NCAA Tournament for a Horned Frogs program with very limited success.

At this point, the Horned Frogs have won all of their games, but it’s hard to know what to gleam from this year’s team. TCU has played the weakest schedule in the entire nation to this point, with all six of their games coming at home against weak mid-major foes. They’ve won each game by at least 19 points, but the toughest of these opponents was likely either Omaha or Alcorn State; not exactly the type of murderer’s row that some of these unbeaten teams have seen.

We can’t really say much about the games TCU has played, but they are undoubtedly going to be tested in the weeks and months ahead. Don’t expect the Horned Frogs to be unbeaten for long, especially with games against Georgetown, Clemson, and Arizona State away from home on the next three weekends. This TCU squad was picked to finish 5th in a strong Big 12, though we’ll just have to wait and see how they fare when actually challenge this upcoming month.
