No. 4 – UConn v. Gonzaga

When: Friday, December 15th – 10:00pm EST

Where: Climate Pledge Arena – Seattle, Washington (Continental Tire Seattle Tip-Off)

UConn as discussed later in this article is impressive so far. As noted, Gonzaga also looks just like they usually do with very few teams able to go toe-to-toe with them. Luckily for college fans, both these teams can compete at the same high level.

Both squads can crash the class and should make for a physical battle and a struggle for both sides throughout. What’s more is that both rosters have very similar strengths and weaknesses which should make for a really evenly paired head to head matchup – maybe more than many other games coming up this month.

No. 3 – #16 Texas at #4 Marquette

When: Wednesday, December 6th – 8:00pm EST

Where: Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Texas kind of fell under the radar of many for whatever reason, but have shown to be a statistically tough team. They are in the top 40 for three point percentage on the year and top 20 on 3 pointers per game. So for what that’s worth their outside attack should be pesky for Marquette.

That being said, the Golden Eagles have impressed this year early on. Despite their close loss to Purdue, they’ve looks near perfect. They tend to do everything well it seems and have a great inside presence. Led by Kameron Jones, Shaka Smart and his squad will be cruising into this game on full throttle.
