Seton Hall Basketball face their toughest test of the season so far as they travel to Waco to take on the Baylor Bears. Baylor comes in with an undefeated record as a top-10 opponent and they are playing some great basketball this season.
These two teams were originally scheduled to play back in 2020, but Baylor had to deal with Covid in their program and that game had to be canceled. Now the Big East-Big 12 battle has these two teams finally facing off here in 2023.
Baylor has been getting great guard play throughout their lineup, and the Pirates will have to deal with a very deep and crafty Baylor squad. So far they have run the table, and this will be the first true road game for Seton Hall this season.
The Pirates are coming off a win against Northwestern where the Huskies did their best to hang on as long as possible, but the Pirates took care of business. They got great performances out of Kadary Richmond and Al-Amir Dawes, as well as transfer Jaden Bediako down low. Against a team like Baylor, this whole team is going to have to play their best game of the season if they want to pull off the upset, so this will be a tough contest for Shaheen Holloway and crew.
You always hope and expect a win, but Seton Hall is looking to get tested here before Big East play begins. But If the Pirates want to come out of this one with a win, here are the three keys to doing so.
