Following Feast Week, chaos sometimes begins to ensue, and that happened for some teams in this Big East conference. We are also winding down as we get closer and closer to eventual conference play, which is something these teams are itching for.

Teams got upset, some won hard-fought games against top-five opponents, and others had their get-right games. One team you could very much argue should not have even lost the game they had lost due to officiating, and for one you just throw up your hands and wonder how that even happened.

It was a bit of a slower week with everyone still recovering from their Feast Week trips, and the schedule starting to wind down a bit before conference play, which is right on the horizon. However, the Big East never needs a ton of games to provide excitement for fans, and there was exactly that as everything went down. We also got some very positive news for a player’s return to practice, and it was a return that was bigger than basketball.

This week provided heartwarming stories, gut-wrenching losses, and opportunities for teams to show their fellow Big East members they are ready to play. Pressure continues and continues to mount for these teams with most only having a couple of conference games left, so these started to matter more and more.
