After a very light Monday, the Tuesday NCAA Basketball schedule offers much more.  here is a game between two top 10 teams and Big Ten conference play.

With only six games on the schedule yesterday it is hard to have any takeaways. This is college basketball after all so there will always be something to talk about. Purdue bounced back in a huge way and destroyed Iowa in West Lafayette. Arkansas avoided the letdown game and beat Furman by double digits in Fayetteville. Oregon State won the silliest game of the night. Cal Poly took the Beavers to double overtime before Oregon State finally won the game by 7 points. Oregon State did not hit a three in the 50 minutes of game time and turned the ball over 18 times. The Beavers are going to struggle when they get into Pac 12 play.

Yesterday I went 6-0 in my picks. That brings my 29 day total to 943-337 overall. There is a much better schedule today with a lot of high major games. The Jimmy V Classic starts today, The Big East Big 12 battle resumes. The Jimmy V Classic has two top 10 teams playing. Otherwise, there are a lot of great Big Ten conference games and some very good mid major matchups. Picks for day 30 December 5, 2023, are below.

The Jimmy V Classic offers the best games today. It has Florida Atlantic and Illinois in the first game and then UConn and North Carolina in the second game. Those are both the games of the night. Villanova and Kansas State is another good game. Villanova has not lost a game to a non-Philadelphia based team all season long. Will that change tonight?

Next. Pros and cons of Dylan Harper's final 5 teams. dark

Those of you who like mid major basketball Indiana State and Northern Illinois offers the best game. Watch out for Oklahoma State on upset alert they travel to Carbondale to face the Southern Illinois Salukis on their home floor. Those games rarely end well for the Power school. Enjoy the games and see you tomorrow.
