NCAA Basketball Recruiting: Pros and cons of 5-star Dylan Harper’s top 5 teams
There aren’t too many NCAA Basketball class of 2024 stars still available after the early signing period. But a few 5-star prospects remained, including Dylan Harper. The 5-star combo guard from New Jersey has been viewed as one of the best overall players in the class as an elite playmaker who can score at a high level.
At 6’6, Harper is a big guard with the measurables and talent to be a future pro. There has been so much hype regarding Harper for the past year that had Cooper Flagg not reclassified, he could’ve been the No. 1 overall prospect. Still, there’s a chance that Harper and Flagg could still end up playing with each other.
Duke is one of the five finalists for Harper, along with Auburn, Indiana, Rutgers, and Kansas. It’s been a somewhat wild recruitment overall, as the local Scarlet Knights have long been viewed as the favorites to land him. But they never were able to get the early commitment in the offseason.
