It’s the “Shaka Smart” game tonight as Texas takes on Marquette. Who wins that game and other matchups on the Wednesday NCAA Basketball slate?

There were so many good games on yesterday that it was hard to choose which game was the best one to watch. There were some upsets yesterday as there are every day and one Big Ten team looked the part against a great mid major team. Illinois scored 98 points against Florida Atlantic in the Jimmy V Classic.

The Illini shot over 60% from the floor and 40% from deep. Two players scored over 30 it was a wonderful performance for what looks like the second-best team in the Big Ten. Grand Canyon beat San Diego State for the Lopes first ever win against a top 25 team. Southern Illinois won a home game against Oklahoma State.

Yesterday I went 31-11 overall. That gives me a 30-day total of 974-348 overall. There are some day games on today for those of you who celebrate. Otherwise, there are some Big Ten conference games and the Big East Big 12 Battle resumes. There is something for everyone today on a loaded schedule of games. A huge schedule of games today. Marquette and Texas are the headliners in the Big East Big 12 Challenge. Nebraska tries to show that they can bounce back from the debacle against Creighton in Lincoln. Clemson and South Carolina is the battle of the undefeated as both head into that game 7-0. The best mid major game on the schedule for me is Duquesne and Marshall. The rest of these games should be fairly upset proof. Enjoy the games and see you tomorrow.
