NCAA Basketball: Picks for Day 32 of 2023-24 season
By Bryan Mauro
Iowa vs Iowa State is not only the big matchup of the Thursday NCAA Basketball slate but also arguably the only key one. Who wins that battle?
Is the Big Ten a good conference? That is a question that we have been trying to answer all season the answer is I don’t think so. It has not shown well out of conference and outside of two teams the rest of the league has left a lot to be desired. Minnesota came back from 15 down in the second half to win by 10 over Nebraska. That says more about Nebraska than it does Minnesota. Marquette crushed Texas and Rutgers got beat by Wake Forest.
Yesterday I went 43-16 overall. That gives me a 31 day total of 1,017-364 overall. After a huge schedule of games yesterday it is a very light slate of games today as we get ready to head into the weekend slate of games. There is only one game between power five schools today otherwise there is a lot of division 1 vs non division 1 teams as everyone gets ready for conference play to start. Picks for day 32 December 7 2023, are below.
UNC Greensboro over Eastern Kentucky
Iowa State over Iowa
Little Rock over Central Arkansas
Eastern Illinois over IUPUI
North Dakota State over Portland
See, as I mentioned the schedule today is not jam packed. It makes sense after having a huge day yesterday and many schools getting ready for finals. The schedule will pick up tomorrow and get ready for a huge day of Saturday games. Iowa and Iowa State is the best game of the day. It is one of the best rivalries in the game.
The best mid major game is UNC Greensboro over Eastern Kentucky. Those two teams have high expectations within their league. Enjoy the games and see you tomorrow.
