1. Lineup changes could be coming for Seton Hall

When you lose against your biggest rival, and especially in the fashion that you lost, things will have to change at some point. This was a game where Seton Hall got bullied, and could not find any sort of flow in their home arena. The Pirates also had issues come up that have been consistent issues throughout the season, not just here in this game.

The Rutgers game feels like the straw that broke the camel’s back here, what is currently going on, is not working as the Pirates are now 5-4. Isaiah Coleman, the freshman, is going to have to play more starting in their next game. Dylan Addae-Wusu has not brought enough offensively for these Pirates, and his starting role may just be going to Coleman.

This Pirate team has some young talent that will need to get their time to perform, because it is getting late early, and you have to see what you have going forward. Their next game is against Monmouth, a chance for this team to try things out, and get a tune-up in before a difficult road matchup against Missouri.

You also need to see Jaquan Sanders get some more time, he is a player who can shoot the ball well but has never really gotten consistent playing time throughout his Seton Hall career. Not saying he needs to start, but minutes will have to be taken away from Dawes and Addae-Wusu given their recent performances.

Seton Hall is in trouble, and Coach Holloway needs to get this team right, immediately. The Pirates are in danger of being in a very rough spot heading into conference play, and the Missouri game feels like a must-win. Pirate basketball could be entering a dark era if this keeps up, but that can be solved by adjusting, and winning, so we will see if Seton Hall can rebound from these losses.
