We’re approaching the part of the NCAA Basketball schedule where most of the key games are played on Saturdays, with a few others sprinkled in. So that means there aren’t a ton of upsets that affect the overall rankings, though there always will be a few.

The top might not have changed but thanks to some results from out west, there was some movement from the middle to the end of the top-25 power rankings. Check out where everyone is placed ahead of a monstrous Saturday slate that’ll see a few top-25 matchups.

Honorable Mention: Memphis Tigers

The Tigers were in the news this week with the report that starting center Jordan Brown had decided to leave the team. We’ll see what comes from that from a roster perspective, but the team was able to stop the bleeding last week, beating VCU on the road in overtime. They have a big matchup on Sunday against Texas A&M in a game that could see them ranked in the AP poll if they win.

HM: Princeton Tigers

The Tigers are just one of eight unbeaten teams in NCAA Basketball, coming off an 81-70 win over Drexel. They face what may be their toughest battle of the season, going on the road to face a St. Joe’s team playing its best basketball of late. A win there could put them on a big run going forward.

HM: Wisconsin Badgers

It was split week for the Badgers, starting with a good win on the road at Michigan State. Unfortunately, that momentum couldn’t carry over out west to No. 1 Arizona, where Wisconsin was thoroughly outplayed from the beginning to the end, losing 98-73. Had it been a bit more competitive, I wouldn’t had a better argument to keep them ranked.
