6. Baylor Bears – 9-0

The Bears have one of the best scoring offenses in NCAA Basketball this season, already with three straight games of at least 90 points scorer. But their opponent this week was Seton Hall, who has a tough and physical defense that could cause problems for them.

And in a way, the Pirates did that. Baylor was never really able to run them off the court and it was a two-possession game for a good portion of the second half. However, the Big 12 team was always in the lead and eventually pushed Seton Hall away for a 78-60 victory.

Rayj Dennis continues his great start to the season, scoring 17 pts and dishing out seven assists. Freshman Ja’Kobe Walter had 15 pts, while the other freshman Yves Missi had 13 pts and eight rebounds. They also got some bench production from Langston Love, who chipped in with 11 pts.

The next opponent for Baylor is Michigan State, who has gotten off to a rough start to the season. But that makes them a desperate and dangerous opponent for them next Saturday. And just a few days later, Duke in Madison Square Garden also comes up. It’ll be a 4-day stretch that could establish the Bears as one of the best teams in the country.
