10. Phoenix Suns: Khaman Maluach

Latif Love: A+

The Suns have been in desperate need for a center ever since they traded DeAndre Ayton. They are finally freed from the shackles of Jusuf Nurkic and Nick Richards. Khaman is one of the younger players in the draft who will provide a good baseline of NBA-ready skills.

He is a great screener and roller, dominant lob threat and growing rim protector. Maluach has excellent touch around the rim and at the free throw line that could point to further shooting development down the line. He likely won't put the ball on the floor much and is not a good passer but if he can grow into an elite rim protector he will be one of the best players in this class.

Joey LeMaster: A-

I was about to give this pick an A+. Then, ten seconds later, they traded for Mark Williams. I think Maluach has such much upside. So then they slash his minutes ten seconds later?

It is a weird moment. However, that does not take away from the fact that Maluach is an incredible player. Elite on the pick-and-roll, can grab any rebound and block any shot.

Devin Booker running picks and rolls with Maluach should bring excitement back to Phoenix. This is the type of player you want in return for an aging Kevin Durant. The timing of the Mark Williams trade slightly ruins the moment.
