The 68-team field for the NCAA Tournament this postseason has been set by the selection committee on March 16. As always, there are a handful of teams on the bubble that have valid gripes as to why they shouldn't be left out from the "Big Dance" among the 68 teams in the field.

Dominating the NCAA Tournament field was the SEC, with an astounding 14 teams from the conference making the field, including the Texas Longhorns and Arkansas Razorbacks.

The conference that seemingly has the biggest gripe with the tournament selection committee process on Sunday is the Big Ten. Both of the Big Ten's teams on the bubble going into Selection Sunday, including the Indiana Hoosiers and Ohio State Buckeyes, were left out of the field.

On the other hand, many teams that were projected by ESPN's Joe Lunardi to be left out of the NCAA Tournament, including the aforementioned Longhorns and North Carolina Tar Heels, made the tournament.

Becoming a victim of its regular season success, the Boise State Broncos were one of the teams that many experts projected to make the 68-team field for the NCAA Tournament on Sunday. Boise State was rated higher than just two of the other bubble teams, both of which made the NCAA Tournament, in the Net ranking and three for Kenpom.

Many felt that regular season wins over the Clemson Tigers by double digits and the Saint Mary's Gaels was enough for the Broncos to make the tourney this postseason.

The West Virginia Mountaineers were probably the team hurt the most by the Big 12 men's tournament this past week. West Virginia's bad loss to the Colorado Buffaloes in the second round of the Big 12 Tournament cost them dearly.

That said, guard Javon Small and the Mountaineers had more Quad 1 wins and road Quad 1 and 2 victories than half of the double-digit at-large seeds in the NCAA Tournament field (six).

West Virginia boasted impressive wins against high-quality tournament teams, including the Gonzaga Bulldogs, Arizona Wildcats, and Iowa State Cyclones. This was probably the most surprising snub for the NCAA Tournament on Selection Sunday.

Coming off impressive ranked wins over the Purdue Boilermakers and Michigan State Spartans down the stretch this past regular season in Big Ten play, Indiana looked primed to sneak in the NCAA Tournament this postseason. Indiana's soft non-conference schedule looks to have cost the Hoosiers a spot in the tournament.

The fact that the Hoosiers were also 4-13 against Quad 1 opponents also hurt Indiana on Selection Sunday in the eyes of the selection committee.
