After nearly pulling off the upset over 1-seed Duke in the first round, Siena HC and former Orange star guard Gerry McNamara took over for the program. He brings with him a couple of key Saints such as Doty and Folefac, along with Tobiason, an athletic guard who had a good NBA Draft combine and could be a leading player next year.
Outside of the returning players, it’s going to be a roster without high-major players, needing Anthony and White to be breakout sophomore stars. Can MAAC players and a head coach make a good impression in ACC Basketball? Success may come to McNamara but there will be some early bumps in the road.
