After a brutal start, Coach Luke Loucks and FSU rebounded well to have a solid first year overall. But with everyone gone, the Seminoles had to rebuild again. Robinson is a solid starting guard, while Abaev could be a breakout candidate as a former top-30 prospect out of high school.
Florida State does have a top-15 incoming freshmen class, a core that could be effective in the future. But the lack of proven talent will be an issue, barring a couple of players emerging as all-league performers.
