It's not often that a team manager's name comes up more frequently than the players or coaches, but for one NCAA Tournament team, the manager is doing just that.

The McNeese State Cowboys' manager, Amir Khan, went viral just before the Big Dance and the most popular man at McNeese continued his 15 seconds of fame after the Cowboys defeated the Clemson Tigers in the First Round.

Earlier in the season, Khan went viral for a freestyle rap that he did while walking through the tunnel with a handful of McNeese players. Quickly, the manager's popularity blossomed as people became obsessed with the free-styling, non-playing, viral sensation.

Ahead of McNeese's game against Clemson, Khan even led the Cowboys out of the locker room and onto the court, with his classic boombox in tow.

Not to mention, the McNeese cheerleaders were even rocking socks that had Khan's face collaged up and down the length of them.

Before the Tournament ever began, Khan even got a couple of NIL deals, becoming the first-ever non-athlete to sign such a deal.

Famously, Khan has been described as "having aura." After the game players couldn't keep their excitement for their manager contained, some even shouting at the camera as Khan was interviewed by FOX Sports following the matchup.

With the win over Clemson, 12th-seeded McNeese moved onto the Round of 32 where the Cowboys will face the No. 4-seed Purdue Boilermakers. Tip-off time for the Cowboys and the Boilermakers has yet to be announced but they will play at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, RI.

No matter what time they play, there should be no doubt that the Cowboys will have Khan walking in right next to them.
