16. Kansas Jayhawks - 15-6 (6-4 Big 12)

It’s been a wild past couple of weeks for the Jayhawks, who have been dealing with both injuries and various lineup changes. They took on a UCF squad that they’d already beaten by 50 points earlier. This one proved to be much closer, with Kansas down at halftime and needing just about the entire game to get past them.

The final score was 91-87 in Kansas's favor, led by 24 points each from Zeke Mayo and Hunter Dickinson. Flory Bidunga, a five-star freshman big man who recently was inserted into the starting lineup, produced 10 points, 11 rebounds, and five blocks. David Coit and KJ Adams each had 12 off the bench, and the team needed all of them to get the win.

Kansas looked to be on its way to a good road win at Baylor, up by 19 points at halftime and over 20+ at one point. However, the Bears made a historic comeback to tie the game and eventually steal it, 81-70. The Jayhawks gave up 60 points in the second half and didn’t get much offense outside of Dickinson, who scored 20 in the defeat.

The Jayhawks come back home for its next game, taking on Iowa State, a team that had its own embarrassing defeat on Saturday to a Big 12 opponent. After that, they play rival Kansas State, who have been playing better as of late and always give Kansas a tough fight.
