15. Missouri Tigers - 17-4, (6-2 SEC)

A year ago, Missouri couldn’t win a single game in league play, going 0-18. But even with the SEC being as strong as a conference may have ever been from top to bottom, the Tigers are one of the top teams this time around. In the past week, they took on a pair of ranked opponents from the state of Mississippi.

First up was Ole Miss at home. Missouri led for a decent amount of the game and was poised enough to hold onto an 83-75 victory. Only two players for the Tigers had more than eight points in the game, but they had big outings. Tamar Bates led all scorers with 26 points, while Caleb Grill went for 22 off the bench.

In the next game, Missouri was on the road at Mississippi State. This was a game where the Tigers dominated from start to finish, up by 14 points midway through and coasting to an 88-61 victory. Grill had 20 points off the bench on 6/11 shooting from deep, while Bates had another 14 points.

Missouri is halfway through their tough 4-game stretch, with two more ranked opponents this upcoming week. They remain on the road at a Tennessee squad that isn’t currently 100% healthy before coming back home to take on Texas A&M.
