11. Kentucky Wildcats - 15-6 (4-4 SEC)
After losing two straight games, the Wildcats needed to get back in the win column. They were on the road at Tennessee on Tuesday as a clear underdog. However, they found a way to pull out the 78-73 victory on the road. It was a balanced effort, with all five starters scoring in double figures. Koby Brea had 15 points, while forward Amari Williams chipped in with 10 points and 15 rebounds.
The next game was one of the biggest in the entire CBB season. Kentucky hosted Arkansas and former Wildcat HC John Calipari in one of the more emotional games of the season. It was also a revenge game for several Razorback players, all of whom scored 14+ points in the game.
It was a high-scoring affair with both teams making shots. In the end, Kentucky got the surprise home loss, 89-79. Williams had a nice game with 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Jaxson Robinson went for 20 points on 6/9 FG. But the defense was what let them down in the disappointing defeat.
Up next for Kentucky is Ole Miss, a team that just lost to No. 1 Auburn. After that, the Wildcats are at home against South Carolina, who remains winless in SEC play.
