Projected Starters

Guard – D. J. Wagner (Sophomore)

Unsurprisingly, Calipari has brought talent from Kentucky, with Wagner certainly expected to be a major piece at a second SEC school. Formerly a Top 10 recruit nationally, Wagner averaged 9.9 points and 3.3 assists as a freshman last season and is expected to take another step forward. Arkansas hopes the former All-Freshman honoree can improve his shooting game as well.

Guard – Johnell Davis (Senior)

One of the biggest names in this past offseason’s Transfer Portal, Davis joins the Razorbacks for the conclusion of his collegiate career after great success at Florida Atlantic. The Indiana native helped build the Owls into a major force, with that Final Four run as a junior before winning AAC Player of the Year last season. Davis averaged 18.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.9 assists and will hope for great production to finish off his career.

Forward – Karter Knox (Freshman)

Knox is a highly-touted 4-star small forward whose brother Kevin played for Calipari a few years ago at Kentucky. Notably for his size and shooting ability, Knox is one of the most prominent freshman additions to this roster and should carve out a major role as his game develops, especially if he can continue knocking down mid-range jumpers.

Forward – Trevon Brazile (Senior)

One of the few returning pieces from last season, Brazile began his career at Missouri before transferring to Arkansas back in 2022. After missing most of year two, he played well last year with the Razorbacks, averaging 8.6 points and 5.9 rebounds per game as a full-time starter. There’s room for improvement in his game, bringing experience and familiarity into this lineup.

Forward – Jonas Aidoo (Senior)

Another major haul from the Transfer Portal, Aidoo comes to town fresh off three productive years at Tennessee. He grew from a backup to a major frontcourt weapon in the SEC, putting up 11.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game last season. A defense menace, Aidoo was among the league’s leaders in rebounds and blocks and will certainly anchor the back end for the Razorbacks.
