Another Saturday, another beautiful full slate of college hoops. With conference titles still up for grabs and several teams still fighting to make their case for a tournament bid, we are in for a great day on the hardwood. From a betting perspective there are always winners out there to be found, and that is what I will attempt to provide for the rest of the season.
Here are the best college basketball bets for Saturday, February 22nd:

Texas A&M Moneyline (-110) vs Tennessee, 12p.m. ET
All we need is to find a winner with this one being a pick'em, and I trust Texas A&M at home way more than I do Tennessee on the road. Buzz Williams’ team is coming off an embarrassing loss to Mississippi State making this a great bounceback opportunity against a top-10 team at home.
These are two great defensive teams so I think this one boils down to who can make more shots. I trust A&M’s elite scoring guard duo of Wade Taylor and Zhuric Phelps to show up here, especially down the stretch when it matters most. I’ll ride with the Aggies at home, where they have been an impressive 12-1, going against Tennessee who is 4-4 on the road.
Iowa State/Houston Over 133.5 (-108), 2p.m. ET
These are two historically good defensive teams so an over bet may seem ugly, but often those are the best bets. Contrary to the recent past, Iowa State can really score this year with five players averaging double figures and averaging 81.3 PPG as a team.
Houston is one of the top three point shooting teams in the country and can really heat up at home where they are shooting 42.5% from behind the arc. The Cougars past three games at home have all gone over this number, with an average of 146.3 PPG, and this is tied for the lowest total the Cyclones have seen all season.
Texas A&M CC +10.5 (-110) at McNeese, 5p.m. ET
10.5 is too many points in my eyes. McNeese has been rolling through Southland conference play, but have not been as impressive lately, at least in the eyes of the sportsbooks. The Cowboys have failed to cover the spread in their past seven games.
Corpus Christi is a solid Southland team sitting at 17-11 overall and they lost by only one point in the first contest between these two. I don’t see the Highlanders pulling off the upset here, but I believe they can keep it inside the number.
Arkansas Moneyline (-105) vs Missouri, 8p.m. ET
Arknsas is dying for a big win at home and I think they get it on Saturday night. There is no question that the Razorbacks have the talent, and they have finally started to put it together. The problem is, for the most part all that it has resulted in is close losses in a brutal SEC conference. I think they finally break through in this one in front of a raucous Bud Walton Arena crowd.
I am also a big fan of the storyline here: A Missouri let down spot coming off a massive win where they played arguably their best game of the season, and Arkansas returning home after two close road games against top-10 teams and in need of a big win to boost their tournament resume.
Rounding it out:
- Rhode Island/Saint Louis Under 152.5 (-105), 2:30p.m. ET
- Akron Moneyline (-120) at Ohio, 6p.m. ET
- Florida -10.5 (-102) at LSU, 6p.m. ET
- Illinois State Moneyline (-125) at Missouri State, 8p.m. ET
- Gonzaga -5.5 (-120) vs St. Mary’s, 8p.m. ET
