Jerod Calhoun comes over from Utah State as Cincy’s next head coach and in a roster filled with transfers, there’s a lot to like. The backcourt has plenty of depth, with Colvin and Fleming proven high-major players, while Riley is coming off a breakthrough year at Tulsa.
The frontcourt isn’t as proven, though Allenspach’s spacing at the four-spot should benefit the offense overall. Coach Calhoun’s history with guards gives the Bearcats a high ceiling with the backcourt group and they should be more than competitive in Big 12 play.
