- David Gomez (5.0 ppg and 3.5 rpg in 2 games at Charlotte)
The return of Hargress is welcomed news for the Buffaloes, giving them a lead veteran guard to run the offense. While losing Johnson is a big blow after a standout first-year campaign, other freshmen, such as Sanders, Inman, and Holland are all breakout candidates for next season.
But will the frontcourt be good enough? Neely was one of the best rebounders in the country at the SoCon level, but being a 6’7 forward could limit his impact in the Big 12. Feddersen is their likely starting center but isn’t much of a rebounder. They’ll need more frontcourt depth unless freshman forward Goc Malual can give them something as a freshman.
