- Mouhamed Sylla (9.6 ppg and 7.2 rpg at Georgia Tech)
- Miles Sadler (5-star guard prospect)
There are five 5-star prospects joining the Big 12 next year. The one that flies under the radar the most is Sadler, an elite ball-handler and the projected lead guard for the Mountaineers. He’ll be paired with Bizjack, one of the top guards in the Big East, while Sanon and Somerville add to the guard depth.
The frontcourt has more questions, especially with Buchanan not being cleared to play next year yet. Sylla showed promise early on as a freshman at Georgia Tech, but he needs to stay healthy, while Traore is a solid forward but isn’t going to provide a ton of offense. It’ll come down to how good Sadler is as a freshman, but the Mountaineers should have a potent lineup offensively.
