11. Arizona State Sun Devils (9-2)

Arizona State responded well after a loss to USC, winning three straight games. Bobby Hurley’s ejection in the most recent win appeared to spark the group.

Maurice Odum leads the Sun Devils at 16.7 points per game. Conference play opens January 3 against Colorado.

12. TCU Horned Frogs (6-3)

TCU’s early loss to New Orleans still lingers, but closer defeats to Michigan and Notre Dame are more understandable. The talent is there, but consistency remains the issue.

TCU will look to build wins before opening Big 12 play with Baylor on January 3 and a tough road trip to Kansas shortly after.
