Coach Greg McDermott is gone, with assistant Alan Huss taking over as expected. The result is not much of a roster exodus, with multiple key wings and forwards outside of Harper. That left two key areas that needed to be addressed.

One was the frontcourt, replacing the underachieving Freeman. Erhunmwunse is a proven Big East player who is more of a defender and rebounder. There should be enough scoring around him so that that’s not an issue.

Enis was the top scorer on the best team in the American (South Florida), but wasn’t overly efficient. There will be pressure for that to change, but he’s still a prolific scorer at times. For a new head coach, Huss had many more things go right in his favor than wrong.
