12. Indiana Hoosiers
It’s a new era in Bloomington with the former Drake, West Virginia HC Darian DeVries set to take over for the Indiana Hoosiers in 2025-26.
Fortunately, he has plenty of talent to work with. Unfortunately, not a single player is a returnee, meaning DeVries & Co. will have quite the task at hand to gel the roster together.
Among notable transfer portal additions are Tucker DeVires, who played in just eight games at West Virginia after being one of the top mid-major players in the country at Drake.
Then there’s a plethora of transfers in the backcourt, headlined by Troy transfer Tayton Connerway and Sam Houston transfer Lamar Wilkerson. Indiana doesn’t have much of a frontcourt presence, meaning Davidson transfer Reed Bailey will be tasked with controlling the bulk of the boards.
Indiana, on paper, is in a better position than they were last season, excluding the preseason hype from last year’s squad. But can they get over the hump in the middle of the Big Ten is their biggest question.
