It's been roughly a month and a half since the initial NET rankings were released, giving us a snapshot of where a team's NCAA tournament resume stands. Since then, several teams have padded their resumes with solid wins as conference play starts (Auburn leads the way with seven Quad 1 wins; somewhat surprisingly, Oregon is second with six).

However, several teams with decent NET rankings and NCAA tournament dreams are missing a Quad 1 to boost their chances. It's borderline impossible to get an at-large bid without one; most at-large selections have two or more at a minimum.

As a reminder, all quad wins are defined using the NCAA's own NET (NCAA Evaluation Tool) rankings. All 364 schools are ranked according to wins/losses, quality of wins/losses, game locations and a few other criteria. A Quad 1 win is a win over a team ranked in: the top 30 of the NET at home, top 50 of the NET at a neutral site, or top 75 of the NET on the road. The rankings are fluid, so a Quad 1 win today might be a Quad 2 win tomorrow (and vice versa, obviously). The NCAA selection committee uses the quad groupings to help sort teams by the value of their wins.

Also worth noting: I'm only including teams in the NET top 80 (and have at least a slim shot at an NCAA berth) and have the opportunity to get at least 1 more Quad 1 win. For example, Liberty could really use a Quad 1 win to boost their gaudy record but likely won't get another Quad 1 opportunity in Conference USA play.

So with all this in mind, here are 10 teams that really need a Quad 1 win to boost their resume:
