Oregon State (0-4 in Quad 1 Opportunities)
The Beavers (and Washington State) were orphaned when the Pac-12 fell apart. They joined the West Coast Conference for basketball for two years, hoping to rebuild the Pac-12 in that amount of time. As landing spots go, it's not a bad place to end up. The West Coast Conference has some basketball history; obviously, Gonzaga is a household name, but St. Mary's (CA) and San Francisco both are fielding competitive squads (San Francisco just missed this list, but with a NET ranking of 70 a couple Quad 1 wins would go a long way for them as well).
Oregon State is currently 66th in the NET rankings; KenPom has them ranked as the 74th-best team in the country. Needless to say, they are not currently in contention for an NCAA tourney bid with those kinds of number. The lack of big wins - or even big games - has hurt Oregon State. They are 13-5, but only two of those wins are above Quad 4 territory.
Their best win is a Quad 2 home win against a surprisingly spunky California-Irvine team; they also have an ugly Quad 3 loss on their resume when they were blown out by Loyola Marymount (CA). They were competitive in their Quad 1 games, losing three of them by three points or less.
